Kingdom Kids
Privacy
What Kingdom Kids keeps, who can see it and for how long. Church Triumphant Wellington looks after it.
This website
The public pages (the home page and the meeting request form) ask for nothing from any other site. There are no advertisements, no analytics and no tracking. Fonts, pictures and scripts all come from Kingdom Kids itself.
The meeting request form sets a short-lived cookie to protect the form from misuse and to show the thank-you page only to the person who just sent a request. The calm-motion choice on the home page is kept on your own device and is not sent to us.
If you ask for a meeting
The form asks for a meeting. It does not book an appointment and it does not give anyone access to Kingdom Kids. This part of the page is about the grown-ups who use the form. It is not about children.
What we keep
What you type: your name and email address, your role (Parent, Teacher, Ministry Leader, Pastor or Other), the church or organisation if you give one, what you would like to learn about, any message and preferred meeting times, and your time zone. We also keep when you asked, whether we have replied, a private note a leader may add, and whether the email telling the church went out.
The form asks you not to include any information about children, and we never ask for it. We do not keep the network address or the device or browser you used.
What we use it for
Only to reply to you. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not share it with any other organisation, apart from the email service that carries our messages.
Who sees it
Lead teachers, on the Team page. The church is also told by email, and that email goes only to the people named in the site's settings. If email is set up, you also get a short email from us saying we have your request.
To slow down misuse, the site counts how many requests come from one place or one email address in an hour. Those counters hold a scrambled code, never the address itself, and are cleared within a day.
How long
A request is deleted automatically 12 months after it was made. A lead can delete it sooner, at any time.
Asking us to delete yours
Email church.triumphant@ctw-upci.org. A lead finds your request and deletes it in one step.
Children
The lessons, the classroom screens, the games in lessons, the Bible Arcade and the family pages hold nothing about any child. What they save is about a lesson or the class, such as which lessons the class has explored.
The one exception is Play Together, the live games for children a leader has approved. For each child it keeps a first name or nickname, a picture, whether the child is approved, which class they are in, and whether their family has agreed to play outside class. For leaders only, it can hold a parent or guardian's name and contact. It also keeps a class result for each finished game and, for teachers and leaders only, who took part.
Children sign in with a one-use play pass that an adult gives them. There is no child email address and no free text from children. When a leader removes a child, the name is replaced, the guardian details are cleared and every sign-in ends. Play Together has no automatic deletion date, so these records stay until a leader removes the child.
If you are a parent or guardian and have a question, or would like a record removed, email church.triumphant@ctw-upci.org.
